Supporting Families and Research: Kreter Foundation Donates CHF 10,000 to ELA Switzerland

The Kreter Foundation is supporting the Swiss association ELA with a donation of CHF 10,000. ELA is dedicated to providing help and support to families affected by leukodystrophy, with this mission at the very heart of its work. Living with leukodystrophy means facing a rare, genetic, disabling, and particularly devastating disease that profoundly impacts not only those affected, but also their families.

An essential part of ELA’s mission is the promotion and funding of medical research into leukodystrophies.

To date, more than 559 research projects have been financed. Despite this, the need remains significant, as these rare and complex diseases are still insufficiently researched due to their specific and challenging nature.

The Kreter Foundation’s contribution is specifically earmarked to support further research in the field of leukodystrophies.
